GIF Trimmer

Cut a section out of a GIF by trimming start and end.

100% offline — files never leave this device. Want proof? Disconnect your internet, then use the tool. It still works.

How to use the gif trimmer

  1. Drop your images into the box above — or click to browse. Files stay on this device.
  2. Adjust the options on the right. A live preview of the settings updates as you change them.
  3. Press the process button. The work happens inside your browser — you can even go offline first.
  4. Download each result, or grab them all as a single ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images really uploaded anywhere?

No. This GIF Trimmer runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. No file, pixel or filename is ever sent to a server. You can verify it: open your browser DevTools → Network tab, run the tool, and watch — zero requests. Or simply disconnect from the internet before you start; the tool keeps working.

Is it free? Is there a limit on file size or count?

It is completely free with no sign-up. Because processing happens on your own machine, the only limits are your device memory and browser capabilities — batch dozens of files at once if you like.

Which browsers work best?

Any modern browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera or Brave, on desktop and mobile. Newer formats like AVIF and animated WebP work best in the most recent versions.

What happens when I close the tab?

Everything is discarded. There is no server-side copy because there is no server involved at all.
